Warriors’ Day Parade

The Warriors’ Day Parade returns to the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto, continuing a tradition that has honoured Canada’s military since 1921. The parade steps off at 10:30 AM and features serving members, veterans, regimental associations, and historical units from across the country.

Junior Company will not be attending this event, but reenactors from the Alliance of Applied Military History Museums will be marching in the parade. The Alliance’s president previously visited Junior Company to give our youth a Reenactment 101 session, so we’re excited to highlight that their reenactors will be on parade alongside veterans and active military members.

Families attending the CNE that morning can expect a mix of marching units, historical impressions, and modern military representation. Past parades have also included military vehicles on display at the CNE grounds, offering visitors a closer look at Canada’s military heritage.
