Who we are and why we do this

Junior Company is a community for young people who love military history, the kids who light up at museums, who ask big questions, who want to understand how people lived, worked, fought, created, and survived. We believe history becomes unforgettable when it’s experienced, explored, and shared, and we create opportunities for kids to do exactly that.

Our mission is simple: Connect young historians with the people, places, and resources that bring the past to life.

Through hands‑on experiences, meaningful research, and a supportive community, we help kids discover that history isn’t just something in a textbook, it’s something they can touch, investigate, and be part of. We work with reenactors, veterans, museums, experts, and local partners to open doors that many young people never know exist.

Most of all, Junior Company is a place where kids who love history can find belonging. A place where their curiosity is encouraged, their interests are understood, and their passion is something to be proud of.
