The Canadian Tank Museum is hosting a special Tank Saturday event focused on the Korean War. This themed demonstration day highlights the vehicles, equipment, and stories connected to Canada’s role in Korea, offering visitors a close‑up look at armour in motion and the history behind it.

Throughout the day, museum staff and reenactors will present vehicle demonstrations, historical displays, and educational talks connected to the Korean War period. Families can explore the museum’s collection, watch tanks run on the track, and learn more about Canada’s armoured history through guided interpretation.

It's an excellent opportunity for families interested in armour, military history, and hands‑on museum programming.

Schedule of Activities:

• 10:00 AM: Gates Open
• Armoured Vehicle Rides Available at Additional Cost:
• 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Vehicle Rides: Leopard 1A5 Main Battle Tank (Must be purchased beforehand), M113 APC,M548 "Battle Bus"
• 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM: LIVE VEHICLE SHOW: Armoured Fighting Vehicles plus a Tank on Tank battle
• 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Vehicle Rides: M548 "Battle Bus" and M113 APC
• 4:00 PM: Museum Closes
